Family Photos at the Tree Farm

It’s no secret and probably no surprise that I’m a Swiftie, and Taylor Swift’s song Christmas Tree Farm always makes me smile. There’s something about the idea of growing up surrounded by Christmas trees that feels so magical, which is probably why I’ve always loved visiting Miller Farms Market. I’ve been going there since I was a teen, and over the years we’ve made so many sweet memories there with our own little ones!

So when my sweet friend Rachel and I were talking about potential photo locations and she said she wanted something Christmassy, my mind immediately went to the farm. They were kind enough to let us take photos among the trees, and I couldn’t have been more excited!

I’ve driven past Miller Farms countless times, and I know the sunsets out there never disappoint, so we planned for golden hour. Even though my schedule leans more toward weddings these days, family sessions always pull at my heart and remind me why I got into photography in the first place. Capturing memories for families is what makes this work so meaningful, and it feels even more special when I get to do it for people I know and love!

I was truly honored and so excited to photograph this sweet family and their incredibly smiley little one. This session was such a fun way to start the holiday season (the best time of year!)
